General Settings

General Settings are made so you can set up some basic settings that will be applied through the whole application. Currently, these settings are divided into two sections:

  1. Appointment Settings and
  2. Global Settings

In the Appointment Settings you can set the following options that will be applied for appointments:

  • Default Time Slot Step - here you define a time slot that will be applied to all time settings in the application. By default, it is set to 30 minutes but you can set a smaller or larger time frame.
  • Default Appointment Status - here you set the status in which all appointments will be scheduled. By default, it is set to Approved status which means that all appointments will be made with approved status and if you set notifications then the Approved notification will be sent to both, customer and employee. If, on the other hand, you change this status to Pending, all appointments will be scheduled with Pending status and you will need to manually Approve the ones that you want to have.
  • Minimum time required before booking - this option allows you to set a time before an appointment in which customers will not be made to book an appointment. If, for example, you set 1 day, and today is 2nd December that will mean that customers will not be able to schedule an appointment for 3rd December. By default "Disabled" is selected which means that customers will be able to book the appointment at any time, even 5 minutes before its beginning.
  • Minimum time required before canceling - this option allows you to set a time before an appointment in which customers will not be made to cancel an appointment. If, for example, you set 1 day, and today is 2nd December that will mean that customers will not be able to cancel any appointment scheduled for 3rd December. By default "Disabled" is selected which means that customers will be able to cancel the appointment at any time, even 5 minutes before its beginning.
  • Period available for booking in advance - this option allows you to set the number of days in the future where a customer will be able to book. By default, it is set to 365 days which means that customers will be able to book appointments in the next 365 days. If you don't want to allow them to book so long in the future from today's date simply change it to a smaller number that suits you.

In Global Settings you can set several options:

  • Default Phone Country Code - here you can set the default phone country code used in your country. The code that you choose here will be applied through the whole application.
  • Date Format - here you can choose the format of the date that is more suitable for you and your users.
  • Time Format - here you can choose the time format that is more suitable for you and your users.
  • Time Zone - here you need to select a time zone in which your business is so you can set your working hours in this time zone and allow proper bookings.
  • First Day of Week - here you can set your first working day in the week. By default, it is set to Monday but you can easily select any day of the week. If you change this that will mean that the calendar will be shown according to this setting showing that day as the first day in the week.

Once you finish setting up your General Settings click "Save Settings".
